The series, Soliders, is inspired by an image in which the Chinese navy military marched to welcome the visiting U.S. President in Beijing. The welcoming ceremony impacted some Chinese people, for CCP has been evoking an extreme nationalism, which regards the U.S. as the opposing force or enemy. How did the soldiers who were supposed to fight against enemies feel when they performed to welcome the president of their enemy? How did the emotion of the soldiers reveal their ideology, and what did they think?
