I mimicked Monet’s Water Lilies of a postcard from a friend of mine, meanwhile, inviting the others to peek into my past from the mirror. A unique piece of art was transformed into consumer goods, which was then embedded in my memory resonating with many pleasant recollections of the moment we spent together. The new image no longer represents Monet’s garden nor the wonder of Impressionists towards the beauty of the modern world.
